A great tool for both new and experienced sewers. When the dress form has been assembled and adjusted to specific measurements it becomes a replica of the person for whom the garment is being made.

Pattern fitting, fabric pinning, tacking, setting in of sleeves and darts, and many more operations can be carried out on the form, avoiding the irritation of constantly trying the garment on to judge its fit.

The condition is as follows

This is a secondhand Vintage Dressmakers dummy. It has been used. It proberly from the 1960's 1980's era??. It has several wing nuts on the inside for adjusting the shape.  To adjust the shape, it is a little fiddley, but once set, it should be fine. There are a few minor marks/Tears etc from use over the years. The metal base was a little worn and wonkey when I purchased it, so I repaired/redone the base support and now it is fine. This dress makers dummy can be adjust to different heights, depending on the height you wish.   Good condition for it's age.

Please Note:   This dress makers dummy is a strictly Pick up only Item due to the size.  Pick up will be about 15-20km north of the Adelaide CBD or 15 to 20 minutes North of the Adelaide CBD.
